Social Action Committee: This lively sub-committee creates opportunities to raise both awareness and funds for a variety of local, national and international charities. This is done through collections, concerts, lunches or other events. Organisations we actively support include the Marylebone Women's Shelter, Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture, and Marie Curie Hospice Centre.
Building Bridges: This project was formed following the tragic London bombings. Building Bridges creates opportunities for dialogue and friendship between Unitarians, Muslims, and others. From small groups discussing common themes, to social dinners, we have held many events which have deepend our mutual understanding and geniune affection.
Environmental Concerns: This project has two components: 1) Making the Chapel community itself a "Green Community"; 2) Educating and encouraging individuals to change their life style to be more environmentally friendly and to lessen the impact of global climate change. We also advocate polically, from Council Level to National Level, for strong environmental policies.
