Who We Are

About Us: The Chapel attracts people from a broad spectrum. Some of us come from traditional religious backgrounds and are looking for alternatives. Some come from no religion at all - and are seeking an open-minded community in which to express their views.    [Read more]

Unitarianism: Unitarianism is spirituality without dogma. We welcome people of all religious faiths as well as those who are humanistic. We cherish and live the values of love, compassion, a free mind, service to others, human dignity, and other similar values.    [Read more]

Our Minister: The Chapel appointed Rev. Jim Robinson as its Minister in May of 2004. He was ordained into the Unitarian Ministry in 1978 and has served churches full time since then. He is on the Ministerial Rolls of both the British and American Unitarian denominations.    [Read more]

Membership: Visitors are welcome to attend services at the Chapel as often as they wish - there is no pressure to take out membership. However, at any time, friends are invited to become members of the Chapel. We currently have 150 adult members.    [Read more]

The Chapel: The first Chapel was a simple wooden structure built in 1692. It was rebuilt, on the same approximate site, as a brick Chapel in 1828. This building is now our Chapel Hall. The current Chapel was built in stages between 1862 and 1885. It is built in a Gothic style.    [Read more]
